Several months ago, those who follow the "1337 wednesdays" show suggested something which we couldnt pass up as an opportunity to, well, be very childish with some hardware, on camera.

So here it is, the first ever show of Top Gear For Gamers. Much along the same sort of lines as Top Gear on BBC, except, this time, its for gamers and hardware geeks like you and me.

We arent going to simply mess around with stuff, buring it, dragging it behind cars, launching it off buildings and setting fire to stuff, we will test the hardware in ways that other sites just havent even thought of. So yes, we will be testing it in all those ways and more!

In this first pilot show, we be testing the Logitech MX518 and the Saitek Eclipse II keyboard and it wont be pretty.

We will also be showing you what happens when you mix one ReDeYe with lots of sugar, a cramped car for 7 hours and a trip to Holland in a Delia Smith-esque kind of way. Again, its not pretty, but it certainly counts as an interesting trip.

The video show includes scenes with QuadV favourites ReDeYe, Shedboy, RubberChicken and Joe as well as some footage of the people who make QuadV work in the background.

The whole show (30 minutes) will be aired as a premier for the first time tonight and streamed live on TV Channel 1, with the Video On Demand section containing the finished article straight after the show for anyone who missed it.
