Tonight will see the release of a 26 minute video covering the recent UT3 launch party held at the Omega Sektor in Birmingham, UK.
The video chronicles the day with footage from the FFA tournament, the Guinness World Record attempt, Mark Rein attempting to do everything other than say “2 weeks” and interviews from Lauke, Zaccubus and Mads from Clanbase as well as early reactions from the hardcore players that turned up to the event, including South African reporter bsk.
ReDeYe, Joe and RubberChicken guide you through the event, conducting the interviews and also featuring a little commentary of the free for all tournament.
There are also some controversial words from Zaccubus as he has a message for all Quake players and Lauke tells us how many noobs he fragged during the tournament as well as going on to explain his plans for UT3. We also catch up with the FFA winner, Recoil and catch Mark Rein telling us that UT3 will be out in “2 weeks”*

26th November 2007, LONDON, England – QuadV is thrilled to announce that both Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner and Stuart “TosspoT” Saw will be the official play-by-play commentators for the inaugural Championship Gaming Series World Final in Los Angeles next month. Paul served as one of the official commentators for the live DIRECTV coverage of the Region One Season this past July and he also recorded a three part series for BSkyB during the CGS UK Final. Stuart previously worked with CGS, as the commentator for the Championship Gaming Invitational tournaments in 2006 and 2007. The CGS World Final which will take place December 6-14 at Sony Studios in Los Angeles will air live on DIRECTV in the US. At the highly-anticipated showdown, 12 top CGS teams from around the world will battle each other for their share of an unprecedented $1,000,000 total prize purse, of which $500,000 will go to the World Champion team. Coverage of the inaugural CGS World Final will be broadcast on television to more than 350 million viewers by DIRECTV’s The 101 in the U.S., BSkyB’s Sky One, Sky Two and Sky HD in the UK, ESPN STAR Sports in Asia, SKY in Mexico and Brazil, DIRECTV throughout the rest of Latin America, and across mainland Europe via additional soon-to-be confirmed broadcast partners. The QuadV pair will be joined in the commentary booth by Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel who will once again provide his expert analysis on all of the games. Paul will be concentrating on Counter Strike Source, DOA 4 Male and FIFA 07, whilst Stuart will be tackling Project Gotham Racing 3 and DOA Female matches. |

QuadV director and shoutcaster Stuart "TosspoT" Saw has been interviewed by the famous Call of Duty community website Tek-9. With the launch of their new website, Tek-9 published an interview with Stuart where he talks about his hopes for Call of Duty 4, and his recent work with XLeague.tv. The Call of Duty scene hasn’t heard from QuadV for a while. Are you and Paul planning on returning to the scene once Call of Duty 4 gets up and running properly?
TosspoT: Well as I mentioned Call of Duty hasn’t been coverage orientated, personally I can say I am going to change that with or without a TV client for the game and that’s going to come through QuadV. Shortly I'll be video capable rather than just audio, unfortunately then Christmas and so fourth will get in the way so it'll end up being January before I personally will delve right into Call of Duty 4 but in short, The Call of Duty scene will hear a lot more from QuadV in the future.
