Crack Clan vs forZe
ClanBase EuroCup XVIII: CSS
Posted by Baldrick on 26/11/2008 17:46:44 GMT
Tonight at 20.30CET the first Upper Bracket Semi Final from the ClanBase EuroCup XVIII for CounterStrike: Source will be contested, with the fierce French line-up of Crack Clan taking on the Russian powerhouse forZe! As always, quadV will be there to bring you all the action on quadV TV 1 with Jay!
forZe come into this game unbeaten in the tournament, and had two convincing 4-0 victories in their other knockout games against k1ck and beeswax? though neither of those teams can be seen to be of the same caliber as Crack Clan, who in the previous round defeated GIAL 4-0 after dropping 1 map against Aimaizing. Crack Clan were lucky to make it through the groupstage, after a 24-6 win over teatime compensated for a draw with Freelancers and a close defeat against n!faculty. Will Crack Clan continue to improve, or will forZe knock them down into the lower bracket?
Find out at 20.30CET on QuadV TV 1 with Jay!

Posted by Baldrick on 18/11/2008 20:03:31 GMT
Right now after the demise of the Championship Gaming Series, you have a chance to listen LIVE on quadV Radio 1 to an all-star team of ex-CGS staff such as ex-Birmingham Salvo General Manager Michael "ODEE" O'Dell, ex-London Mint's Ben Woodward, QuadV's very own Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner and Jay Atkins and Cadred's Corin Cole compete in theSGL Supernova Series Ultimate Cup! Taking place on PLOW's home map, de_inferno, they compete against -|MOD|- in what's sure to be a once in a lifetime opportunity to catch these superstars live, with A_Spec on quadV Radio 1!
RÁK EMBER vs. Sway Gaming
ClanBase EuroCup XVIII: CSS
Posted by Baldrick on 15/11/2008 19:13:12 GMT
This Sunday at 20.45CET sees quadV resume its coverage of the ClanBase CounterStrike: Source EuroCup with Jay on TV1, as the 1st round of sees the Finland's finest, RÁK EMBER take on some British beasts in the form of Sway Gaming.
Sway come into this game off the back of a heavy defeat to Reason, and won't want to let their new organization down in this match after a tough time in the groupstages, where they lost to Gial but managed to win 20-10 over Inferno eSports and 16-14 over inteRaction to progress to the knockouts.
RÁK EMBER on the other hand will be looking to advertise the availability of their all-star lineup to any potential investors, as they're yet to display the potential that their lineup shows on paper. H2k were easily dispatched in their qualifier game, however they only managed to win 16-14 against eSrael on inferno, and then lost to Aimaizing 19-11 to finish 2nd in the group. Freelancers took a win in the previous round again, in much the same vain as Reason's victory over Sway.
Don't forget to tune in on quadV TV1 with Jay at 22.00CET on Sunday 16th November for all the action!

Thats right, we continue to add our old videos back to our new QuadV on Demand area for your viewing pleasure. Today we have ESWC national finals from Netherlands and Belgium from this summer and a real treat if you are of a World In Conflict persuasion with the addition of our full coverage from this years CPL World Tour Finals.
The games include one of the most exciting matches I have ever had the privilidge to commentate on, the Semi Final of the Lower Bracket between Reason Gaming and Dignitas. It has to go down in the hall of fame here at QuadV as one of the most epic matches we have covered. If you havent seen it before, pop on over to the QuadV On Demand area and enjoying a brilliant game, even if you have never seen WiC before, you will love it.
There is still a lot more to come of course and if you have a particular preference for what we add next, please leave us a note in the forums.
