Our very own Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner has been interviewed by The Championship Gaming Series CGS: You have been around the world to many different events, how would you compare those events to what you have seen so far from The CGS? ReDeYe: My first thoughts are, different. You can’t really compare CGS right now to anything else that has gone before; it has a different format, different rule set and a different approach to the tournaments. I get the impression that CGS wants to do things properly and mainly because they really believe in video gaming and want it to succeed. Care is taken at every turn, whether it be helping people outside of gaming understand more about it, learn the games used and introduce them to some of the amazing talent in gaming or reaching out to the casual gamer. To me at least, having now met those involved in the whole project, it seems that the very best people from video gaming, people who have proved themselves time and time again, are being used and are involved in the CGS. I would love to answer this question again in a year’s time, because I really believe this next 12 months could be the most exciting in competitive gaming history. The full interview can be read here.
