And Now for Something Completely Different
TrackMania!? On my quadV!?
Posted by A_Spec on 18/02/2009 18:49:59 GMT
A_Spec is always on the lookout to cast something new. Something fresh. He is continuously and endlessly experimenting with new formats and new games to give you more varied viewing pleasure.
TrackMania Nations Forever is an ESWC supported racing game that is downloadable for free from various websites. Its coverage on quadV (aside from one game in 2008) has been rather lacking. This will all change this sunday as A_Spec will cover the GeIL Racing Challenge Final. Four drivers will battle accros three tracks in order to decide who will go home with €100, and who will be watching the dust fly up in their face.
Tune in this Sunday at around 17:00 GMT (subject to change) on TV2.

UKeSA coverage gets under way on QuadV this Thursday with a plethora of games!
*** UPDATE *** The CoD4 match will now be Reason v TCM rather than CC v TMG
Crack Clan takes on Team Coolermaster in the CS:S Premiership; both teams formed out of the ashes of the CGS and in the Mad Max esque post apocalyptic MR15 scene, will be looking to make an impact. With a total of £7,200 up for grabs in the first season of the Dell XPS Premiership this battle between two of the most promising teams in EU Source is sure to be an epic encounter. Crack Clan will already have the chemistry to contend, the question remains how will the almost limitless potential of TCM match up against CrackClan?
This being both teams' first major official and with not only bragging rights but cash at stake, it will be interesting to see which two of these teams gets off to a flyer. With a stacked league for Season One (including the likes of Reason, Dignitas, TLR and 4Kings) both these two upstart clans will have a lot to prove.

That was the same Polish team that beat the UK 16-14, and the UK had the same scoreline against Greece.

We are very happy to announce that after a long evaluation period Keith “Arx” Nichols and Mike “Beta” Merola have joined QuadV. Initially they will be continuing their already excellent commentary for Team Fortress 2 on our streams.
Both guys have been casting Team Fortress 2 matches for a long time and are well respected within the community for their enthusiasm and deep knowledge of tactics, players and teams. We hope the guys enjoy their time with us and that we can help them achieve the potential they have.
As a side note, we are also looking for further talent to join our ranks for 2009 and beyond in other games. If you think you fit the bill and have the raw talent we are looking for, feel free to drop us an email to moc.vdauq@sboj together with a brief background, age, location and a link to a demo and who knows, you could be the next caster signed up to QuadV!
