Tonight at 20.00 Enemy Down's Eurokrieg Winter comes to a close, with the grand final between z0o and Verygames to determine who will walk away with the £1500 first prize, and who will go home with nothing. z0o go into this match with the upper hand after winning the upper bracket, destroying Verygames' French rivals RedLine 16-2 in the upper bracket final. RedLine was the team that sent Verygames to the lower bracket, and as such they will need to win both maps in order to retain their title as Eurokrieg Champions!

To find out whether z0o will restore a Finish team to the top of the source scene or whether Verygames will stop them in their path, make sure you tune in with Jay at 20.00 on quadV TV 1!

Crack Clan vs Reason Gaming

ClanBase EuroCup XVIII: CSS Upper Bracket Final

Tonight at 19.30GMT, Reason Gaming and Crack Clan will go head to head in the Upper Bracket Final of the ClanBase EuroCup XVIII for CounterStrike: Source! Once again, quadV will be bringing you all the action with Jay and Corin live on QuadV TV 1!

The courageous Czechs of Reason go into this match as the favourites after defeating the ferocious Frenchmen of Crack Clan 16-7 in the Eurokrieg Winter earlier this week on de_tuscan. However, I think we're unlikely to see this map tonight but either team could look to get a sneaky advantage over their opponent by picking a less-played map. Crack's convincing defeat of forZe in a match which was of course live on quadV last week in just 2 maps will give them the confidence boost that they might just need to give a team of Reason's calibre a serious challenge. However Reason are yet to face a team of Crack's level, with Rush3D who they beat in their semi-final playing second fiddle to forZe in the Russian scene.

Whilst there's a high chance that the loser will come back through the lower bracket to compete in the grand final, its always an advantage to go in on top, so to find out who'll take that top spot, make sure you tune in at 19.30GMT on quadV TV 1 with Jay and Corin

Crack Clan vs forZe

ClanBase EuroCup XVIII: CSS

Posted by Baldrick on 26/11/2008 17:46:44 GMT

Tonight at 20.30CET the first Upper Bracket Semi Final from the ClanBase EuroCup XVIII for CounterStrike: Source will be contested, with the fierce French line-up of Crack Clan taking on the Russian powerhouse forZe! As always, quadV will be there to bring you all the action on quadV TV 1 with Jay!

forZe come into this game unbeaten in the tournament, and had two convincing 4-0 victories in their other knockout games against k1ck and beeswax? though neither of those teams can be seen to be of the same caliber as Crack Clan, who in the previous round defeated GIAL 4-0 after dropping 1 map against Aimaizing. Crack Clan were lucky to make it through the groupstage, after a 24-6 win over teatime compensated for a draw with Freelancers and a close defeat against n!faculty. Will Crack Clan continue to improve, or will forZe knock them down into the lower bracket?

Find out at 20.30CET on QuadV TV 1 with Jay!
