It is with regret that we announce officially today that Jay Atkins has left QuadV with immediate effect. Jay has been with us as one of the founding commentators at QuadV when he moved over from the now defunct TSN.

Jay put in a tremendous amount of work over the last 2 and half years and played a huge role in taking our coverage forward both technically and from a commentary point of view. He has been a key part of our online team and attended numerous tournaments with us and will be missed by the whole crew.

He leaves on good terms however with the door always open if he should ever wish to return. Jay will be taking up a new position with our friends at Gamesports which offers him a unique opportunity that was simply too good to turn down. We would never stop any of our staff from trying to better themselves and thus, all be it reluctantly, have allowed Jay to move on to his next challenge.

On behalf of all of the crew here at QuadV, we wish him the very best with his new venture.

Our bandwidth partner Verygames have launched a new piece of software called Shockvoice. This new piece of software promises what gamers have always wanted, high quality voice sound with ultra low latency.

We now offer in our shop the latest software for voice server, the well appointed Shockvoice ULL (Ultra Low Latency).

Shockvoice ULL, do you know it? We don’t think so, but you will pride yourself to have been the first to use it!

It combines the strengths of Teamspeak and Mumble ULL: ease of use of the first and the sound quality and speed of transmission of the second.

Check it out right now ! : Verygames Shockvoice

As you will have noticed by now, QuadV's long term hosting partnership with Multiplay has come to an end. Multiplay have been brilliant supporters of our business for over 2 and a half years and on behalf of everyone at QuadV I would like to thank them for their help and support over that period, particular in light of the recession in the last 12 months.

Whilst we were never going to close down, we did have a period of time where we may have been without hosting and that is where Verygames kindly came in. We have agreed a hosting deal with the French server giants and we could not be happier to have signed with them for both our site and Video On Demand section to he hosted with our good friends at Verygames.

The deal ensures we can continue to deliver your site and VOD system fully and we are extrememly thankful to Verygames for stepping in to help us out with sponsorship which enables us to continue offering these services.

We look forward to working with Verygames and helping them grow their business in tandem with ours over the coming months, so please feel free to extend your thanks to Verygames for helping us out in the comment section!

It has taken a long time but it's finally here, Left4Dead is coming to QuadV. We've (read A_Spec) have been brewing this one for quite some time but now we've finally gotten a decent excuse to get some professional anti-zombie gameplay to your screen. Join us as we cover the final of the i37 L4D tournament live from Stoneleigh park.

In addition to this, we also have the Halo3 final starting at 12:30.
