QuadV has developed far quicker than any of us imagined and whilst that is great, it has also left us struggling to keep up with the demands with such a small team. We are therefore, pleased to announce that we are able to recrruit two new people to positions we did not think we would require for some time.

We are now accepting applications for a Lead News and PR manager (posting news and PR on our site as well as other sites when appropriate). This is an unpaid position, but does come with a few benefits and obviously longer term may well work out to be a paid position. The main responsibilities will include posting news on our site and dealing with public relations items, such as press releases and posting interesting coverage items on community sites for people to be able to follow the action in their game.

We are looking for someone who has a good grasp of written english and can communicate with many people of different ages and from different games. A good understanding of esports is essential as well as a sound knowledge of what people want from an online esports broadcaster. Applications can be sent to moc.vdauq@luap with a brief CV including previous experience and background. All ages will be considered, but ideally applicants will be over 18 with a full passport.

We are also looking for a Graphic Artist to assist in the building and ongoing graphical needs of the new site. Again, this is an unpaid position, but could be used as a platform towards a degree or likewise at college and would suit a student working towards a graphic artist position upon leaving uni/college.

For either post, please feel free to email any questions and/or application to moc.vdauq@luap

A little belated perhaps, but we were 1 month old as a company last week. Happy 1st month birthday us!

This would be a good time to take stock of where we were and where we are now and after 5 weeks of operations, things could not have gone better for us on many fronts. We have picked up more leagues, matches and tournaments (online as well as lan) than we could ever have predicted as well as some fantastic casters along the way. We had 21 applications for casting positions alone during our first two weeks of existence and whilst we would love to have taken on lots of you, only 3 made it through in the end.

Whilst we have gone out on video and audio throughout the last 5 weeks, what has been even more impressive is that we have done it simultaneously. Take for example this Sunday gone, you could find 2 video streams covering UT2004 and CS:S, Supreme Commander, UT2004 ONS and Enemy Territory going out on audio, all on th e same evening. Who else covers MORE online games? We have also attended two successful lan events and have more to come as well as some great announcements of coverage of major tournaments to come.

It has been a fantastic start and has exceeded our own expectations of where we would be within 6 months, let alone 5 weeks. A big thank you to all our technical staff and our commentators as well as all of YOU that have tuned in and helped us improve not only our content but the quality of it too. I would also like to say a big thank you to our tournament partners, in particular to Intel and to ClanBase for their support and feedback over the last few weeks of coverage.

We have more to come and we know that whilst we have had a fantastic start, we still have a lot to prove and a lot to do to make our coverage even better, but rest assured, everyone at QuadV is working hard to achieve just that.

Unfortunately, due to a huge bill for bandwidth, QuadV has begun the process of closing down the company after just 2 weeks in existence.

We are very sad to announce this news and despite over 3,000 people tuning in to our streams this week, it has had a negative effect in that the costs for our bandwidth have gone through the roof. We did not expect to be as succesful as this in our first two weeks and therefore did not plan on having to pay out £5,500 in bandwidth costs this early.

With immediate effect, all programs are cancelled until we can find a way of paying our bandwidth bills and all staff are suspended until further notice.

We thank you for your support in setting the company up and for tuning in, but regret that we are forced into this position by our costs.
