About dunnN

Shoutcaster [shout-kas-ter, -kah-ster] n.
1. Taking video games to the next level
2. A broadcaster who caters to a youthful, tech-savvy audience
3. Using vocal talents to create excitement

Every sport has a voice. From John Madden to Dick Vitale, there is an established broadcaster that ties viewers to the game via a familiar listening experience. Corey Dunn has created that same sense of nostalgia within eSports, or Profesional Gaming. His recognizable tone has been heard during countless hours of footage dating back to the earliest broadcasts, and identified Corey as the voice of eSports. Not content to settle into a traditional broadcasting role, Corey’s talents extend to the entire spectrum of event coverage: play-by-play, commentary, and analysis.

Growing up in the Texas town of Bedford, Corey Dunn quickly became enamored with shoutcasting and began working with the Team Sportscast Network at the age of 18. Since then, he has expanded his repertoire to ensure a combined focus on being knowledgeable, entertaining, and credible to his listeners, while still remaining approachable. While many shoutcasters embody one of these traits, Corey is one of the few who have transcended the bounds and manage to excel at every aspect.

Milestones for Corey include on-site coverage of the Cyberathlete Professional League (Dallas, TX) and the World Series of Video Games, and World Cyber Games the three largest global eSports events. During his years with the Team Sportscast Network, Corey covered nine different games across several individual events. His television appearances include MTV, CBS, College Sports TV and GameplayHD, as well as appearing on TV in 5 different countries.

Currently, He attends College at the University of North Texas majoring in Radio Television and Film with a minor in Mathematics. While working with quadV, and attending class, he also is the Sports Director at NTTV doing play-by-play for basketball, softball, and volleyball.
