I first got into competitive gaming back in the early days of Counter-Strike, to which I was one of the many people who immediately became addicted the first time they played it. I was fascinated with the elements of teamplay and skill the game offered, and right away saw the potential for gaming to truly be a professional sport.
After playing for several years in North America, I finally reached the coveted CAL-I level of competition, only to stop playing in order to focus on my studies. While at university in Southern California, I began managing Team Evil Geniuses (EG), and since 2005 that role with EG has been a significant focus of mine.
I was approached by QuadV in early 2008 and was offered the very humbling but wonderful opportunity to lead the brand into North America - I, of course, accepted, and that brings us to today. Outside of my duties to QuadV, I still run Team EG, and I'm also behind the much talked-about CSPromod project.
Events Attended
Virtually every major North American eSports event of note since 2005, as well as most World Cyber Games and eSports World Cup international stops. I was also present for both seasons of the CGS :).
